Delete Your Globber Account

This page explains how users can delete their Globber account and what happens to their data after deletion.
This information is required by Google Play’s User Data Policy.


How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Globber account at any time directly from inside the app:

  1. Open the Globber app
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm the deletion

Once confirmed, the deletion process begins immediately.


What Data Is Deleted

When you request deletion:

  • Your profile information is permanently removed
  • Your photos (profile + challenge validation) are deleted
  • Your messages are deleted or anonymized
  • Your authentication credentials are removed
  • Any challenge participation or activity data tied to your identity is removed

Some data may remain in encrypted backups for a short period due to system requirements, but it is not used for any active purpose.


What Data May Be Retained Temporarily

For legal, security, or fraud-prevention reasons, we may retain:

  • Transaction records (required by App Store / Google Play)
  • Logs or technical backups that are automatically purged after a limited time

This does not include personal profile information.


How Long Deletion Takes

Most data is deleted immediately.
Full removal from backups may take up to 30 days.


Can I Delete My Account Without the App Installed?

Yes.

If you no longer have the app installed or cannot access your account, you can request manual deletion by emailing:
